Chemo Care Kit

“What can I do to help?” Cancer caregivers - family and friends of cancer patients - want to provide meaningful support but often times are at a loss for what to say or do. In fact, there are a lot of different things you can do to help your loved one through chemotherapy (“chemo”) and other treatments.

Chemo care kits are packages that contain different items – both for comfort and entertainment – that your loved one might need and want during their treatments.

We have included a list of items in your chemo care kits that could help a patient before, during and after treatment based on the unexpected side effects from the treatment. Because different people react differently to treatments, we have provided a variety of items.

The most things can make a world of difference for someone going through chemo or cancer treatment. Create a Chemo Care Kit and include a card to lift their spirits.

These are the instructions for Chemo Care Kit. Questions? Email us at

1. Locate the instruction sheet included with your kit.

  • Find your Kynd Code. Tear the code in half.
    • Save your half.
    • Put the other half aside to put into the completed kit.

*The Kynd Code allows you to post your finished kit on KyndHub. The recipient code allows them to find your post, connect with you, and share their gratitude for your kyndness. If the recipient uses their code, you'll get to see where your kit ends up and who benefited from it.

2. Complete the gratitude practice included in your KyndKit.
