Sight Word Flash Cards

THE TASK

Create bright, fun, sight word flashcards for first-grade students, at under-resourced schools, who are behind on their reading level.

THE RECIPIENT

We have partnered with TutorMate, a national, virtual reading tutoring company. The sight word flash cards will be delivered to TutorMate who will deliver them to the schools in the most need around the country.

THE REASON

A first-grader has a small reading gap, and reaching them early is proven to be the most effective way to improve their reading. TutortMate will distribute your flashcards to students who need them most!

THE INSTRUCTIONS

These are the instructions for Sight Word Flash Cards. Questions? Email us at hey@kyndhub.com

1. Locate the instruction sheet included with your kit.

  • Find your Kynd Code. Tear the code in half.
    • Save your half.
    • Put the other half aside to put into the completed kit.

*The Kynd Code allows you to post your finished kit on KyndHub. The recipient code allows an adult to help the children find your post, connect with you, and share their gratitude for your kyndness. If the recipient uses their code, you'll get to see where your kit ends up and who benefited from it.

2. Complete the gratitude practice included in your KyndKit.
